Visitors To Our Website

We do not collect any data from people visiting our website – our website is there to provide information about our company only. We do not make (nor allow anyone else to make), any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

If we ever do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about this. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it.

Mailing List

If you are on our mailing list, we do collect some personal information. This is usually limited to name, email address, and the media outlet(s) you work for/are a representative of. We may sometimes also hold your telephone number and address, if you have provided it to us.

We use our mailing list to send press releases, advance music, and guest list and interview offers for artists/events we represent, or other similar activity deemed a legitimate interest. We may also get in touch to check our records are still up to date. We work hard to make sure this information is targeted and as much as we can, that you don’t receive emails not relevant to you. We guard our contacts fiercely and don’t sell or trade mailing lists with other organisations and businesses.

Besides our Cosa Nostra PR email accounts, we often use a third party provider, Constant Contact, to deliver our press releases. For more information, please see Constant Contact’s privacy notice. To send you advance music digitally, we may use a limited number of third parties depending on our client, including Haulix (privacy policy), iPool (privacy policy), or PreAmp (privacy policy). We may gather statistics around email opening and downloads/clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve what we send out.

You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any of our emails saying “unsubscribe”, or by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of an email, or by emailing us at hello@cosanostrapr.com. If you later change your mind and would like to be re-added, just send us an email.

 

Guest List / Interviews / Competition Winners

If you have been added to the guest list for one of our client’s shows by us or are doing an interview with one of the artists we represent, we may need to share a limited amount of your personal information to facilitate this. To give examples, we may provide band/tour management or venue box office/show promoter with your name, related media outlet, and telephone number. If you are the tour manager/band rep, we may provide your telephone number to accredited journalists where needed. This does not add you to any further mailing lists and this information is shared purely to facilitate that instance.

Where a media outlet supplies names or other details directly or indirectly (e.g. reviews editor sends reviewer name, features editor sends interviewer details, media sends competition winner data), it is assumed that they have your permission to give your details to us. 

 

Access To Your Personal Information
